OVERVIEW
We are actively looking for a Data Analyst / Data Scientist to join the development team. Work with US
clients and help them solve their toughest data analytics and insight challenges. You will primarily work
with clients in the Manufacturing industry – commercial metals, metals recycling. You will have a chance to work with our proactive and talented people with great teamwork, and an open and respectful working environment. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
● Design and implement relevant data models in the form of data stored in data warehouses and
data lakes.
● Build data pipelines to bring information from source systems and cleanse data to support
analytics initiatives for core business metrics and performance trends.
● Dive into company data to identify sources and features that will drive business objectives, then
present the suggested data model and virtualization to project stakeholders.
● Work closely with Domain Architecture, Business Consultants, Data Engineer, and other team
members to provide regular status reporting and support them to refine issues/problem
statements and propose/evaluate relevant analytics solutions.
● Bring your experience and ideas to effective and innovative engineering, design and strategy.
● Work with development teams to virtualize data in BI tools such as PowerBi, Tableau and custom
web-based dashboards.
● Collaborate with multiple teams and own the solution end-to-end.
REQUIREMENTS
● At least 2-5 years of relevant IT software experience relating to large-scale data integration/ETL.
● Have working experience with programming languages such as Python, R, MATLAB.
● Have experience of working with analytics platforms (Tableau, Microsoft or Oracle BI, etc.).
● Strong knowledge and skills with SQL and relational and non-relational databases.
● Good at unit testing and integration test strategies.
● Must be able to multi-task and deal with changing priorities.
● Able to work independently and willing to support others.
● Good skills in English and the ability to communicate with business and technical teams.
● Good at communication and presentation skills, including the ability to clearly articulate the
solution and implications of a complex model to all types of project stakeholders.
NICE TO HAVE
● Be able to research and apply Machine Learning and other technologies to implement
Data-Prediction and Modelling.
● Knowledge of working with cloud-based data warehouse and data lake services such as Azure
Data Lake, and Azure Data Factory.
● Beginning familiarity and applied Machine Learning tools/frameworks for analyzing data such as
Tensorflow, and NLP models.
